Our 2014 campaign is in full swing, and we’re making great progress toward our goal of $30k of sales and donations. For every dollar we raise, Pack 161 will receive at least 35 cents, so we should be able to raise $10k+ to fund pack activities throughout the year. We have held a number of “show and sells” around town and many scouts have been selling door to door and online through trails-end.com. Many thanks to the parents and scouts who have participated so far! I hope that is has been fun for everyone to take part!

Last show & sell @ Darien Sport Shop Saturday, 10/11 (2 hr shifts are open 11am to 5pm / sign up now!)
End of D2D / take order sales Friday, 10/17
Parents submit take orders to den leaders Friday, 10/17
Take order pick up by dens Weekend of 11/7-9
Dens deliver take order popcorn 11/8 – 11/16
Prize pick up TBD – likely in December

Don't forget to put your boat together and bring it to sail. They were handed out at the last Pack Meeting.
Your den leader may have taken an extra one for you if you weren't there. Check with your den leader.
Scott Lucas (scott@lucasemploymentlaw.com) has a few boats put together for boys that didn't pick one up at the April Pack Meeting. He will bring them tonight.
Scott also has a few unopened kits that you can quicky put together at the event.
